Job Description

Our client is an established gift brand who trade globally and supply their products to all the leading retailers both in the UK and overseas. These include UK high street favourites such as John Lewis, Harrods, and Selfridges along with many independentstores countrywide.This successful business are looking for a positive, dynamic Sales Coordinator to join their growing sales team. You will provide the highest level of service to your customers, so you need to love speaking on the phone, have a calm and friendly approach,and be able to resolve customer queries with confidence and intuition. This is a new role due to company growth, so its a great time to join!The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a positive approach, and be a real team player.Duties and responsibilities as Sales Coordinator:

  • Support Account Managers across both key & independent accounts
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times - building solid, honest relationships
  • Identify relevant sales opportunities to maximise and grow existing accounts
  • Assist customers with any enquiries, including stock availability
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding orders, stock and product queries utilising any opportunities to up-sell where appropriate
  • Oversee customer orders, inputting them onto the database, ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Liaise with internal team, delivery partners and warehouses to ensure products arrives on time, updating customers on any delays
  • Ensure customer information is updated and maintained on internal databases
  • Attend tradeshows and customer visits as required
  • Proactively follow up new customer interest and tradeshow leads
  • General support to the wider team
Experience and requirements for the Sales Coordinator role:
  • 2+ years sales support experience within a wholesale / B2B business
  • Excellent attention to detail, someone who is highly organised, and deadline driven
  • First rate communicator and relationship builder, both internally and externally, and at all levels
  • Ability to understand the wider context of managing accounts, communicating with different departments internally, as well as third party partners
  • Solid IT skills, particularly Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Able to work using your own initiative, foreseeing potential problems and proposing solutions
  • Deadline driven nature, proactive and commercial eye
  • Numeric and accurate,
  • Friendly, service driven, collaborative and a real team player
