Our sales function is key to the efficient services provided for patrons and visitors of thecomplex and we are now recruiting for a competent Sales Assistant to join our dedicated and dynamic team.The role will mainly be based at Venue Cymru but there may be a requirement to work at Theatr Colwyn, Colwyn Bay which is a vibrant 400 seat venue facilitatinga busy programme of both film shows and live productions as well as Porth Eirias which is an iconic landmark architect designed building situated on Colwyn Bays sandy promenade, a building purpose built to take advantage of its waterfront location. The buildingregularly receives in excess of 4000 visitors through its doors each day. This is a challenging and interesting position. You will work between the main sales desk and telesales section, handling the computerised sale of tickets, sale of retail items, providingtourist and visitor information services and providing customers with a comprehensive service of the performances and services available. Applicants should possess excellent customer service skills, competency in using a computer and the ability to work ina busy and demanding environment.The ability to converse in English is essential and desirable in Welsh for this post.This is a permanent part time post with the hours of work being on an annualised hours contract working for an average of 20 hours a weekarranged in accordance with the agreed system of working on a shift rota basis and includes weekend, evening and bank holiday working.Conwy is committed to equality of opportunity and we welcome applications from all sections of our community.
