Job Description

We are working with a leading toy and gift company who supply their iconic products to retailers across the globe. Their enviable client list includes both premium high street multiples and independent boutiques alike, and their established, successful businesscontinues to go from strength to strength.They are seeking a Sales Administrator to join their growing sales team. Your role will involve working with the Account Managers in supporting and developing their growing International customer base across all territories outside of Europe and the USA,being the face pf the brand to your customers. The successful candidate will be proactive, friendly, service oriented, and a great relationship builder.Responsibilities in this Sales Administrator role will include:
  • Speaking to customers, taking orders over the phone, up-selling ranges where appropriate, and suggesting alternatives where applicable to maximise sales
  • Building solid, positive working relationships with your customers, attending face to face and virtual meetings with customers
  • Supporting customers with general enquires via the phone and email such as stock & product queries, order status updates, complaints, sample requests, etc
  • Ensuring orders and customer details on the system are accurate and up to date at all times
  • Inputting sales orders onto the system, checking the stock requested is available, and sending order confirmations to customers as required
  • Liaising with the shipping team and freight forwarders regarding delivery status, customer packing requirements, etc, ensuring goods are delivered on time & in full
  • Raising Pro Forma invoices, liaising with Credit Control regarding credit limits, etc
  • General administrative tasks to support the wider sales team as needed
  • Attending trade shows as required
The successful Sales Administrator will have the following qualities / skills:
  • Previous experience in a customer service / account management
  • A great communicator at all levels, and a natural people-person
  • Good MS office skills, SAP experience a bonus
  • Deadline driven with the ability to effectively prioritise own workloads
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work on own initiative
  • Numerate with high levels of accuracy, and a good attention to detail
  • Personable, friendly and a positive team player
