Job Description

£45k to £50k basic salary + uncapped commission + company carLondon Area This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join this established and growing business. Working remotely in the field, youll be building a client bank within the London area, servicing existing accounts and establishing newcustomers. The role is 25% account managment and 75% new business.The successful candidate will be based within the M25 corridor and have a proven track record of managing and growing an account base of retail / design focused customers.The target customer base is made up of independent homeware or furniture retailers, Kitchen & Bathroom showrooms, independent electrial wholesalers, interior designers and architects. Previous experience working with a similar customer base would be an advantage.The Company

The Role
  • An exciting opportunity to join an innovative and progressive business in the decorative homeware sector, we are looking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic individual to focus on growing the London market for us.
  • You will be tasked with maintaining, developing and growing business within the independent retail sector - Interior & Home Furnishing Retailers, Lighting Retailers, Bathroom & Kitchen Showrooms, as well as developing and building relationships with interiordesigners and architects/specifiers for the development of the project sector for this decorative brand. Calling on certain electrical wholesalers will also form part of the remit.
The Person
  • The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record in field sales preferably within the lighting market though not essential. Experience of the home accessories, housewares, interiors, or related industries also being a distinct advantage.
  • At least 3 years field sales experience dealing with retail or commercial interior or lighting/furniture products.
  • You will be a strong relationship builder with excellent business development skills and an understanding of the independent retail trade.
  • Used to working on patch, visiting 4+ clients each day.
  • Will possess B2B sales experience.
  • Rapport Builder, confident & self-motivated.
  • A natural pioneer who will invest time, energy and commitment to this role.
  • A sense of pride in all forms of presentation.
  • Located within the London area, the role is predominantly field based, involving meeting with your portfolio of customer/prospective customers daily
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent IT skills
