Job Description

Our client, well known within financial services, are seeking a Risk Partner to join their team. Youll support the team to take our risk management maturity on to the next level, providing valued advisory support to the rest of the organisation.Duties:

  • Youll help our management and leadership to identify, assess and respond to the risks we face as an organisation, ensuring they develop credible action plans that align with our Boards risk appetite.
  • Youll be able to take advantage of the well-established risk framework, tools, techniques and stakeholder management weve built, while helping us identify how we can move to the next level of risk maturity.
  • Youll be taking responsibility for managing relationships with multiple business areas, being available to provide support and guidance and ensuring they manage risk well.
  • Youll support a significant development of our second line assurance responsibilities, building on recent work to better define and articulate the controls we have in place across the three lines of defence.
  • Youll help deliver a structured, risk-based programme of assurance activity, ensuring that controls are designed well and operating as planned, supporting the first and third lines so that our assurance activity is balanced and targeted.
  • Youll assist with short notice incident reviews, lessons learned and, where necessary, investigations under our speak up and anti-fraud policies.
