The Credit Risk Exec Group Manager serves as the Global Head of Citis Banks, Broker/Dealer and Non-Bank Financial Institutions portfolio. Directly managing teams in New York and London, the Role also works with regional heads in Asia, Latin America andCentral Europe/Middle East and Africa to serve as their subject matter expert and senior approver. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the global banking and financial services industry, including industry prospects and the competitive landscape.The role requires close coordination with business functions such as corporate banking and sales and trading, and an ability to understand, and help direct, Citis strategic direction in the financial services space. The successful candidate should have astrong understanding of a broad product line, including traded products and clearing and settlement. Previous management experience is a strong plus. Excellent communication skills required, in order to negotiate internally, usually at a senior level. Therole also involves meetings and discussions with banking regulators and external communication/negotiation with clients. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. May be involved in, or responsible for, diverse (cross-discipline) activities.Key member of the Financial Institutions Credit Risk team at Citi.
