Job Description

We are looking for a fantastic communicator with strong analytical skills to join our growing team. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of the entire trade lifecycle and be looking to use your attention to detail and experience to work with variousinternal and external counterparties.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run daily risk control checks and accordingly generate risk reports
  • Review of daily compliance checks
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of all trade related data.
  • Develop standard processes and procedures
  • Drive systems automation
  • EOD Operations & Risk Control reports for senior management
  • Provide excellent client service
  • Confirmation/Settlement of trades with counterparties - Reconcile and validate trade capture and day trading activity in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaising with front office, as well as external counterparties, on operational/settlement matters
  • Proactively monitor, investigate and reconcile trade breaks - Review, research, and resolve reconciliation items of various books and records on a daily basis, including positions, pricing, trade-date and settle-date cash
  • Trade support for various FX, Interest Rate, and Exchange Traded products including (but not limited to) FX Spot, Forwards, Swaps, and Options, Cross Currency Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, Deal Contingency Forwards, Equity and FixedIncome Futures
  • Coordinate with front office and technology team, locally and globally, to address trade related enquiries and issues
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a similar role incorporating the above functions is preferable, however we are open to training and developing enthusiastic and committed Graduates.
  • Attention to detail, organisation and accuracy are vital for this role
  • Understanding or knowledge of various security types – FX Spot, FX Forwards, FX Swaps, FX Options, Interest Rate Swaps, Fixed Income and Equity Futures
  • Knowledge and understanding of securities and other financial instruments with an emphasis on Interest Rate Instruments.
