Job Description

Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients recruitmentteam and provides professional interim solutions and temporary resources.Our client, Deutsche Bank, is a global banking business with strong roots in Germany and operations in over 70 countries. Their large but focused footprint gives them an established position in Europe plus a significant presence in the Americas and AsiaPacific. Deutsche Bank offer their clients commercial and investment banking, retail banking and transaction banking as well as ground-breaking asset and wealth management products and services.On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Reward & Recognition Specialist to work in their London team for a 6 month contract on a PAYE basis.Overview:

  • There is an ongoing book of work in partnership with colleagues in HR Performance & Reward and Performance and Planning Management which provides a valuable opportunity to be involved in a whole range of variable compensation topics and participation innew initiatives relevant to the compensation space that are brought to the table by the stakeholders.
  • At various points through the year, restatements and other items need to be considered and adjusted for in plan.
  • In order to derive the inputs to the plan and validate the output,close collaboration with HR and PPM is critical.
  • Nuances across regions and divisions add complexity to the planning process and mean that input from and education of the divisional leads and their delegates is critical.
  • This role will be expected to be involved in the testing of new tools which are being developed to facilitate scenario modelling of cash bonus outcomes and support the annual planning cycle2.
  • An additional component of the cash bonus accrual process is the need to consider performance and affordability adjustments on a quarterly basis.
  • Throughout the year, providing line of sight on potential performance assessed outcomes is crucial and drives the requirement for various ad-hoc and regular deliverables to senior stakeholders and/or the SECC.
  • This role will be expected to support the provision and development of insights to the various stakeholders.

Skills required
  • Experience of reporting, planning and analysis and an ability quickly assimilate important aspects of complex topics and translate into a financial impact on planned / expected compensation costs.
  • Commitment to ensure the control responsibilities within their remit are understood, discharged to an appropriate standard and fully embedded into the SOx framework.
  • Awareness of upstream controls and downstream dependencies is also integral to how a successful candidate would operate.
  • Ability to interact with senior counterparts within their stakeholder groups across often sensitive compensation topics and deliver information, analysis and solutions in a timely manner.
  • Aptitude for simplifying complex topics to support stakeholder discussions.
  • Experience in leading projects from the line with a track record of influencing counterparts to drive change.
  • Commitment to embedding new processes, controls and governance to ensure the change is sustainable and cost effective
