Job Description

Highly innovative Payments FinTech house with huge growth potentialDiverse role sitting across Revenue Reporting within Financial AccountingDescriptionRevenue Financial Accountant - Payments FinTech houseCity of London location (hybrid working - 3x days p wk in office)Banking & Financial Services fintech

  • Preparation and posting of month end and year end revenue workbooks
  • Responsible for maintaining the European Fee Matrix ensuring accuracy and completeness of monthly billing
  • Review and analyse revenue performance during the period, providing commentary on variance analysis for inclusion in regional reporting papers
  • Leading the revenue team responsible for revenue recognition and credit control
  • Preparation of period end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Lead on projects aiming to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of revenue controls and processes
  • Support on the implementation of internal audit recommendations
  • Liaising with external auditors during component and local audits for revenue related items
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager
ProfileRevenue Financial Accountant - Payments FinTech houseCity of London location (hybrid working - 3x days p wk in office)Banking & Financial Services fintech
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Netsuite Accounting system would be advantageous but not essential
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivots, vlookups, sumifs, index, match
  • Professional and logical approach to problem solving with strong analytical skills
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced client driven environment with tight reporting deadlines
  • A strong, clear working knowledge of financial processes and controls, and the ability to identify process efficiencies
Job Offer
  • Base 50,000 to 60,000
