Our client hasan opportunity for a Revenue & Cost Assurance Analyst to join their team in London. You will join them on a fulltime,permanent basis. In the UK their Docklands data centre campus facilitates the majority of the London Internet Exchange’s (LINX) capacity, meaning that they support a huge proportion of all UK internet traffic, making their Docklands campus a globally important internet hub.Revenue & Cost Assurance Analyst OverviewYou will aim to diagnose issues with operational underperformance relating to billing, cost control and collecting revenue, ensures process enhancement to improve cash flows and payments along with profits and revenue. You will provide support in financial data analysis, reporting and financial performance enhancement.Key responsibilities of their Revenue & Cost Assurance Analyst:- Monitor all core contracted revenue at a customer and contract level. Prepare Monthly movement reports, track and report on performance on a monthly basis and over time- Carry out a minimum of 10 reconciliations of contracted service billing across a minimum 2 year period on a monthly basis- Match costs to revenue and produce profitability reports, monitor profit margins to ensure in line with business expectations- Perform monthly variance analysis and report on actual operating cost against budget and forecast- Examine data thoroughly to support with cost control and reduction across all operations- Review revenue and where applicable, associated cost for all types of services at month end and investigate variances against budget and forecast- Prepare and process all necessary revenue and related cost accrual and deferral entries at month end. Maintain detailed reconciliation schedules for accrued and deferred income on a monthly basis- Support annual/ bi-annual budget and monthly forecast process by utilising profitability analysis of products and services to feed into planning process- Develop regular revenue and cost management reports and provide recommendations to improve efficiency. Help audit efficiency of assets, stock and billable resources usage against the budgetEssential requirements needed to become their Revenue & Cost Assurance Analyst:- Experience in delivery of numbers-based management reports- Good accounting experience- Data analysis and data interrogation experience as well as ability to make decisions based on data- Strong numeracy and data interpretation skills- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, particularly when dealing with internal and external customersIf you feel you have the skills and experience to become theirRevenue & Cost Assurance Analyst, then please click ‘Apply’ today!
