Job Description

Global Advisory firm is seeking a bright Senior Associate to join their Restructuring team. Advising, companies, sponsors, lenders, creditors and investors in distressed situations, often under tough conditions , this is an exciting opportunity to join thishighly respected team of Restructuring professionals.This key role within a supportive and collaborative team, would ideally suit an applicant with a hands-on approach, who possesses excellent time management capabilities.Areas of responsibility will include:

  • Ensuring all areas of your work are completed on time and deadlines are met
  • Discussing with manager any issues as they arise and provide suggestions to progress cases
  • Communicating regularly with manager, providing updates
  • Use IPS case management system for all cases
  • Be able to work on several different assignments at any one time
  • Visiting clients and liaising with client employees, agents and solicitors
  • Building strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Supervising junior members of the team, providing guidance, mentoring and motivation
  • Assisting junior members with any queries
  • Be involved with junior members training and appraisals
  • Drafting correspondence, bank reports, information memoranda and liaise with interested parties in respect of sale of businesses and/or assets
Candidate Requirements:
  • 3 years + experience working in insolvency
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or currently training to achieve this qualification)
  • Experience of Administrations, Liquidation (CVL and MVL) and CVA processes
  • Understanding of the Insolvency Act and Rules relating to above procedures
  • Good academics
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and engaging personality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Good team player
