Required for September 2021Applications are welcome to take on the role of a Residential Matron in our Year 9 co-educational Boarding House to commence in September 2021.The role is term time, plus days at the beginning and end of terms. This post also comes with a 2-bedroom self-contained flat.You will be responsible for the health, clothing and general well-being of those in the House and will be required to deal with medical emergencies as well as routine appointments that may entail escorting pupils as needed to medical appointments. Tasks will also include the organisation and supervision of a small team of domestic staff attached to the House, ensuring that they carry out their work effectively and efficiently.The ideal candidate will have a practical, warm and sympathetic personality. Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage, but not essential.Nursing experience and qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential.
