Charity Talent are recruiting for an International Campaigns Organisation, they are recruiting for a Researcher to start asap, working remotely and it is a Temporary Contract until mid January. You will join a team of researchers providing around the clock the monitoring of the the US elections.The successful candidate will search by designated keywords for petitions related to the US election. Triage those petitions according to whether they are likely to cause harm to their users. Monitor news and social media platforms to identify emerging themes, keywords or patterns of behaviours as the election campaign progresses.Liaise with researchers in other time zones to ensure seamless coverage.Skills:Experience of research for a variety of projects or subject areas but with a particular interest in political or policy research.Genuine curiosity about the election process and the news stories related to it. A desire to disappear down that rabbit hole and find extra information about the subject.The ability to evaluate the potential effect of a piece of content (additional training and support will be provided in this area).Strong collaborative and communications skills.Familiarity with Salesforce and Google Suite is desirable
