As a Barclays Research Operations and Distribution Manager, you will provide project management, operational and research distribution support to the research franchise on a variety of publishing and distribution related matters. This role requires a degreeof client interaction to ensure clients are receiving the right research and data services based on business and regulatory criteria. What will you be doing Managing and driving projects (directed or self-initiated) as well as participating in wider team/department projects and initiatives across Research Producing clear and concise project plans and business requirements for Research IT to enhance and build efficiency in our current workflows and processes Tracking progress on plans to ensure on time delivery Providing support with business testing ahead of IT releases to ensure all new functionality and bug fixes are tested and working as expected Analysing data from multiple sources to produce regular and ad hoc MI, presenting the information to facilitate management decision making Ensuring clients are entitled correctly for research and data products in accordance with any local, regulatory or other business specific criteria Working collaboratively with other members of the Research Operations/Distribution team and Research Production/Supervisory Analysts teams Trouble shooting and resolve general research distribution related queries that arise on a daily basis What were looking for: Extensive project management and business analysis experience, with the proven ability to deliver enterprise change programs on time Supervisory and leadership experience Excellent data, analytical and reporting skills Excellent Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Skills that will help you in the role: Research Distribution/Operations experience Experience of Research authoring/distribution systems Client Relationship Management (CRM) databases Managing and supporting operational workflows and processes Where will you be working5 North Colonnade is home to our investment bank and is in the heart of Canary Wharf, just a short walk from our headquarters at Churchill Place.
