Job Description

This role sits in a Research support function, directly supporting requests from bankers across EMEA that will assist them in providing corporate finance, M&A, equity and debt capital raising services. This role would be joining an established research teamin London that is data led in its focus.The person will:

  • Supportbankers with research tasks that can differ in complexity, topics and output requirements
  • Conduct in-depth research across a broad range of investment areas and topics.
  • Supportproject work that will enhance the teams abiltiy to provide the widest variety of data led best in class research.
  • Have an ability to utilise technology such as PowerBI and new AI modelsto more widelysupport the research of the team.
  • Need to be able to develop a strong understanding of thebanking teams focuses and work,or already have this industry and sector knowledge,so that they are able to provide best in class and tailored insight to their research requests.
  • Previous experience in a research team would be benefical, showing an abiltiy to analyse data to judge what is appropriate. Ideally this will have come from aninvestment bankor related professional service. However, given the niche nature of the requirementwe would also consider those who have transferable skills from areas of financial and professional services who can demonstrate an analytical and research based mentality.
