We are currently looking for a Research Analyst to join a leading Biotechnology company based in the London area. As the Research Analyst you will be responsible for laboratory support as well as sample preparation and analysis assistance. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Research analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. Preparing samples for DNA extraction, dilution and quantification for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). 2. Helping with general laboratory maintenance and operations of laboratory equipment and assisting the team.3. As a Research Analyst you will, use the latest technologies in PCR such as PCR, rt-PCR, digital PCR and qPCR etc... 4.Supporting the health and safety by working with the safety managers. Also by drafting SOPs and maintaining ISO 17025 documentation. ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Research analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree in a life science degree such as biochemistry, biology, biomedical science etc2. Proven laboratory experience with molecular biology techniques and NGS sequencing. 3.
