They are now looking for a curious and independent-minded Graduate Research Analyst to join their intellectual team of insurance innovators!Job descriptionIn this Data Analyst job in London, you will play an integral part in the companys growth. From the offset, you will benefit accelerated career growth as you will be provided with the opportunity to participate in practical training directly related to your role. In your role, you will report into the Head of Research and Analytics and will support the way in which the team gather, store, write and share the content and intelligence they provide to their clients, members and network. You will be responsible for updating the core intelligence database platform, generating reports and taking part in the design of future enhancements. You will also support the partners in reporting and communicating with clients and members during regular daily briefings and meetings. Key responsibilities In this Junior Analyst opportunity in London, your responsibilities will include:* Complimenting the key discussion points for events and podcasts by conducting thorough data research into hot topics* Extracting research information from client interviews and meetings* Attending workshops and detailed topical discussions, and sufficiently documenting these to compile strong supporting information for internal files* Updating and maintaining the core intelligence database platform and generating reports* Learning and creating content related to the climate and natural perils* Liaising with senior team members to draft responses to client questions* Participating in the firms internal training for continuous development on technological innovationJob requirements * A 2.1 BA or BSc from a top university in a research-based discipline* Evidence of prior research work and writing from academic life, outside interests or work experience* Familiarity with Excel for creating graphs, lists and pivot tables* A keen interest in data, technology and insurance* Impeccable written and verbal communication skills* Strong eye for detail and methodical mindset* Self-starter and independent-mindedBenefits of the job* A great starting salary of £25,000 - £27,000, depending on experience + discretionary bonus! * Flexible work location but once covid restrictions are lifted, you will be expected to be in London at least once per week* An annual £500 training budget to ensure your learning and development is continuous* 5% pension contribution* Huge potential for career progression and growthOn the hunt for entry level analyst jobs and want to kickstart a career as a Research Analyst If youre an analytical graduate with a keen eye for detail and passion for all things data, apply to this Research Analyst job in London today!Discover more IT and Analyst graduate jobs in London and across the UK.
