Job Description

The Research Analyst needs to support the Head of Investment by performing research in macro and micro factors related to securities investment which is mainly focused in fixed income then produce papers based on the research.Client DetailsThe financial services client based in the City of London, is a state-owned bank, founded in 1954 to finance and manage major industrial projects to expedite industrial development and enhance the national economy.DescriptionThe main duties of the Research Analyst include:

  • Identify/Research/Analyse key factors of global economy/industries/companies such as economic environment, industry trend, respective competitive landscape, and the strategy of the major companies in the industry
  • Write up research papers and report to Head of Investment
  • Perform financial analysis of the target companies for investment purpose (forward looking) and analyse the impact of a business issue on the portfolio.
  • Collect, monitor and study business issues to create reports that should assist the portfolio managers in London and their Head Office with their investment decisions.
    • ProfileThe prerequisites for the Research Analyst include:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics
  • 1+ years of work experiences in Accounting / Finance / Strategy
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE READING FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
  • Bilingual in English and Korean (Verbal and Written)-DO NOT APPLY FOR THE ROLE UNLESS YOU SPEAK FLUENT KOREAN

  • Salary: GBP35,000 (Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience)
