Read more about DWS and who we are here: https://en-gb/ Team / division overviewThe Fund Selection team is part of DWS Multi Asset and Solutions a c. $100bn global platform at DWS, and it is in charge of identifying, analysing and vetting fund strategies for the inclusion in a wide range of Multi Asset portfolios. You will operate andcollaborate within the existing Fund Selection team of Multi Asset and report to the Head of Research Multi Asset in London. Role DetailsAs a Fund Research Analyst, you will:

• Conducting Investment Due Diligence on a number of alternative and more traditional investment funds with such analyses well documented through standardized qualitative and quantitative reports
• Primary focus on Investment Due Diligence for the target investment funds but with some Operational Due Diligence aspects too
• Supporting the on-boarding process of selected alternative funds onto the Multi Asset platform and portfolios in partnership will all other relevant departments at DWS
• Contributing to more top down analyses and asset classes and funds peer groups reviews and quantitative studies as per established team processes
• Contributing to the ongoing funds recommendation list risk assessment and monitoring
• Assisting the senior members of the team and other colleagues at DWS as relevant for the main client and funds of funds relationships and with the required ad-hoc work and for fund selection/advisory opportunities.

We are looking for:

• Proven experience in Fund Research
• Working knowledge of the main databases and tools for funds and financial markets analyses
• Quantitative skills, particularly applied to funds analysis and for producing reports on the full range of the target funds risk, performance, correlation, liquidity and all other relevant metrics
• Expertise inclusive of equity and credit asset classes and alternative strategies preferred, with a keen passion for financial markets
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willing to be part of a small team within a larger platform and with flexibility to take on both long only liquid and alternative (more illiquid) funds research projects
• German language would be an asset
• ESG and CFA qualifications would also be a plus

DWS Hybrid Working model in the UK is designed to find the right balance between in-person collaboration and engagement in the office, which is core to our working culture, and working from home.
