Job Description

Join us as a Repo & Risk Transformation Director

  • Repo & Risk Transformation Structuring (R&RT) is a successful and strategically important front office desk role and youll be responsible for innovating and structuring complex fixed income transactions
  • Well look to you to originate and lead transactions and projects across the Risk Transformation business, contributing to an ambitious financial budget with growth aspirations
What youll doAs a Repo & Risk Transformation Director, youll focus on analysing and reviewing potential transactions. Youll analyse the structural risks inherent in products and structures, as well as quantitative analysis, optimisation, back testing, and scenario calculations. With clients including UK and Northern Europe financial institutions, youll provide proposals, ideas, and structures for risk and capital management to clients, client-facing teams, Trading, and Syndicate. Your role will also involve:
  • Supporting the Risk Transformation business
  • Incorporating insured financing and credit solutions
  • Supporting functions to pitch transactions as well as analyse, negotiate, and review potential transactions and identify structural risks
The skills youll needTo succeed in this role, youll need front office or client-facing experience in the financial or a related professional service sector. Youll also need:
  • Practical knowledge of core banking regulations or accounting principles
  • The ability to quantitatively evaluate financial risk and dissect documentation to identify and explain structural risks
  • Confidence in presenting and negotiating, as well as capability in processing multi-faceted commercial projects
