Job Description

.NET Developer REMOTE UK - .NET Core, C#, F#, Web API, React, Azure, Backend DeveloperA technology focused company that specialise in FinTech are seeking an experienced Remote .NET Developer / C# Developer to join their growing team which is based remotely around London. You will be working on a permanent remote based position within this team, ideally with quarterly visits to their HQ based in Central London.The .NET Developer / C# Developer will be working remotely on a niche software product using C#.NET and Open Source technologies, utilising a bleeding-edge technology stack. Their prodct is currently being used by 250,000 separate users (clients), growing on a daily basis.The .net development team are empowering the latest technologies in their products and youll be utilising both Microsoft and Open Source related tech stacks including .NET Core, Windows Azure, ReactJS and F# to name a few.Desired .NET Developer Exposure:

  • C# .NET
  • Asp.net MVC, WebAPI, REST API, .NET Core
  • JavaScript (Angular, React, jQuery)
  • SQL Server + Other DBs
  • TDD, Agile (Scrum)
  • ANY cloud exposure is a massive plus (they use Windows Azure)
    • Not essesntial but used/taught:
  • F# Programming (will be taught)
  • NoSQL Databse Experience
  • CI/CD experience, ideally with TeamCity and Octopus Deploy but not essential
  • Akka .NET
  • HATEOS
  • RabbitMQ, ServiceBus and other messaging tech
  • Domain Modelling Paradigms / DDD
    • Key Skills / Traits:
  • Mathematical Background
  • Logical thinking
  • Team Players
  • FinTech Exposure is ideal but not essential
    • The interview will be based around how you think, approach code and tackle problems rather than based purely on what frameworks or tools youve worked with in the past.
