Are you looking for you next role teaching Religious Studies in RedbridgeTradewind are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and talented Religious Studies teacher to jointhe Religious Studies Faculty from April 2022. This is a successful 11-19 girls school which serves themixed community of East London.Our client is a co-educational, independent of local authority school with academy status, located inthe London Borough of Redbridge, England. The school has approximately 1200 pupils on roll,including 300 in the sixth form. In its most recent inspection, Ofsted has given our client an overallrating of Outstanding. They are a relatively large comprehensive school that is regularly oversubscribed. Nearly three-quarters of the students come from a range of minority ethnic backgrounds.They are looking for a full time RE teacher to join a lovely humanities department with a highlysupportive Head of Department. You will become a Religious Education and will be responsible forteaching Key Stage 3-4, Christianity, and World Religions. Pupils behaviour at this school is very goodand to have good discipline, respect for each other and a willingness to contribute to the schoolcommunity through involvement in lessons and extracurricular activities is very much promoted andfollowed at this Client. Much of the teaching takes place in mixed ability groups with the averagegroup being twentythree pupils. All of our subjects lead on to further study, either in our Sixth Form or at a College ofFurther Education in Years 10 and 11 extra classes are created to ensure that the average group sizeis below 20.Two of the schools great virtues are its relentless drive for high standards and its strong belief ininclusion.
