Release ManagerLocation: London (remote during restrictions)Contract - start ASAP until end of the year.Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious global Energies client for a Release Manager with experience across landscape/environment, configuration and build management. You must have an understanding of complex IT solution landscapes to determine the impact of change/releases and be able to define the release process, strategy and quality control mechanisms across prod and non-production tiers. You must have strong communication and relationship building skills and effectively work closely with key resources across test management, service providers, project management community and project SMEs. Responsibilities* Plan, schedule and manage a mix of upcoming support/enhancement releases and major new functionality releases * Proactively connect with source/destination systems (e.g. KYC Portal, Stratos data platform, GoldTier, ETRMs, ERPs etc.) and solution providers to understand future changes and their impacts * Track composition of each release (Defects, Incident Tickets (SNOW), Functionality) * Support team through relevant CAB processes including upcoming due dates for signoffs and CAB presentations * Ensure that PROD migrations are formally handled through the change process * Define Solution release numbering scheme and track mapping to each components release number(s) * Define and manage process for emergency fixes across solution * Put cutover/deployment plan together and track to Go-Live * Organize KT (if needed) for release handover to SOMSubmit your CV now to be considered for this fantastic opportunity to work with a global energies client in London.
