They are looking for an experienced Reinsurance Technician to join their London operation. Excess of Loss and Facultative business exposure is essential. Provide Technical support in the overall servicing of the clients insuranceExperienced in the end to end activity of invoice processingWork with the Accounting and Credit Control Team, with accountability to support the reconciliation and collection of premium, keeping funding and bad debt to a minimumRegular liaison with our Compliance and Regulatory Team to support the setting up of trading partners as well as ensuring we meet the required sanction and licensing rulesStrong understanding and experience in structure and format of slips and cover notesGood understanding of Market Reform Contract (MRC)Ability to demonstrate an excellent level of technical insurance knowledge and understanding of the Industry and its regulatorsStrong understanding and experience of the Bureau Accounting and Settlement (A&S) protocols and activity, as they relate to premium process and signingsKnowledge of LORS would be helpfulDemonstrates a working understanding of resources available in relation to tax and vat requirements, as it relates to premium processing activityWorking understanding of the financial aspects of the end to end premium processA good level of technical knowledge across classes of business within the operating company combined with a working knowledge of Xchanging IMR and Market Wordings Database is essential.
