HFG are currently recruiting on behalf of a top Lloyds MGA who are seeking a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster to join their growing team, specialising in US Property and Casualty.Key responsibilities* Manage individual caseload by examining crucial data and factual reports, establishing appropriate reserves, facilitating negotiations with Cedants, and confidently making independent decisions* Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims information in accordance with best practices* Prepare concise written and verbal reports for senior management* Foster positive relationships with Cedants, Brokers, Co-Reinsurers, and Legal Representatives to effectively handle and analyze reinsurance claim exposures* Ensure adherence to policy obligations and fair treatment of Customers* Comply with all regulatory requirements, maintain confidentiality, and uphold company policies* Achieve set objectives and contribute to team efforts and projects as needed* Provide risk insight, information, and identify emerging trends to drive profitable growth* Assist in conducting audits on Cedants and other relevant parties, including due diligence assessments* Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and operations teams as necessary* Stay informed about any pertinent Legal, Regulatory, or Medical developments* Report important developments, issues, and trends to the Head of Claims as needed
