HFG are currently working with a Global Insurer who are seeking a Reinsurance Technical Accountant.The ideal candidate will have a mixture of both Reinsurance Processing and Technical Accounting, candidates specifically with inwards/outwards Reinsurance processing experience preferred.Responsibilities and Main duties include:* Undertake Technical Accounting (including processing) for Inward Proportional and Non Proportional treaty accounts.* Collaborate with the Claims Department on Inward Proportional treaty claims.* Review, process and check accuracy of closings of rendered accounts, cash calls, premium and loss reserve deposits; event claims management and tracking, Sliding Scale adjustments and Adjustments.* Process tasks/accounts accurately in an efficient manner by month end.* Demonstrate high level of attention to detail by producing exceptional quality and accurate technical data, when processing the technical accounts onto the Underwriting system.
