Job Description

Regulatory Tech BA

  • Contract:6 months + extension (inside IR35)
  • Location:London, UK
  • Flexi: Hybrid (2 days per week onsite max)
Job SummaryThe candidate will be joining the Bank’s FM Tech team to work on “Regulatory Rules Engine” - A centralised, highly resilient, highly scalable platform for Financial Markets that provides controls to ensure we meet our regulatory and controls requirementsaround trading and reporting. The team is spread across 3 locations – London, Singapore and Bengaluru.The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked as a business analyst and subject matter expert on implementing Regulatory Reporting for (all or at least a few of the following regulations): MIFID/EMIR/SFTR/SEC/MAS/ASIC / HKMA for financial markets.Key responsibilities:
  • Understand requirements and translate into quality technology solutions
  • Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology teams.
  • Take ownership of technology deliveries from high level requirement through development, testing and deployment
  • Provide solutions and convert them into detailed, unambiguous, business and functional requirements
  • Perform data analysis where needed using querying tools.
  • Provide on-going support to the technology teams as required e.g. authoring / reviewing test cases, closing out open issues / questions, managing change request process etc.
  • Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps and communicate these to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Work closely with business users, other project and programme managers and technology stakeholders to ensure all stakeholders are fully engaged and expectations managed
