Job Description

Join the Close Brothers Regulatory Reporting team where you will (have responsibility for the Bank and Groups regulatory capital reporting. This includes COREP reports, internal MI, Pillar 3 disclosures, and relevant regulatory disclosures in the groups FinancialStatements and other financial reporting. Working as part of the regulatory reporting team, our ideal team member will have previous experience of PRA and EBA prudential regulatory requirements with excellent organisational skills. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and analysis of quarterly capital returns
  • Support production and review of other regulatory returns as required
  • Work with the Regulatory Policy and Planning Manager to ensure accurate delivery of new regulatory returns and reports, ensuring appropriate involvement of relevant staff
  • Prepare monthly packs for senior management, covering capital and leverage metrics under both standardised and IRB approaches
  • Prepare and manage key capital, leverage and other CRD IV disclosures in Interim and Annual Financial Statements, including preparation of key explanatory communications and reconciliations for senior management
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of reporting requirements, regulatory changes and developments
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, in particular with Finance and Treasury to ensure that queries are dealt with in a prompt manner

  • You have previous experience of PRA and EBA prudential regulatory requirements
  • You have the ability to work productively with people at all levels in the organisation
  • You are able to demonstrate initiative and an analytical mindset in order to identify and resolve problems
  • You have awareness of internal control requirements, with the ability to identify control weaknesses and propose changes to processes as required
  • You have an analytical background

  • Completed an accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
