Job Title: Regulatory Reporting ManagerKey Responsibilities:* Generate internal reports for local and head office management on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.* Prepare external reports for regulatory bodies. * Automate regulatory reporting and support the implementation of relevant requirements.* Enhance controls and processes to improve accuracy and quality in regulatory reporting.* Foster understanding of regulatory reporting requirements across the organisation and provide regulatory support to other functions.* Provide cross-functional support within the Finance department.* Oversee outsourced regulatory reporting.Risk & Regulatory Duties:* Comply with applicable regulatory requirements, Risk, and Compliance policies and procedures.* Report breaches or suspicions to the Risk and Compliance departments.* Execute controls to minimise the risk of breaches and escalate new risks/gaps.* Manage customer complaints according to procedures.Financial Crime:* Execute Financial Crime Prevention controls accurately.* Assess risk categories for clients.* Support Relationship Managers and KYC team with screening and Customer Profile Reviews (CPRs).* Report suspicious customer behaviour to the designated department.* Adhere to AML, Financial Crime, and Anti-Terrorism policies and procedures.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:* Qualified accountant (CA/CIMA/ACCA).* Extensive experience in Regulatory Reporting within a relevant institution. 5-10 years experirence is ideal. * Familiarity with regulatory reporting systems.* Broad understanding of financial accounting and its translation to regulatory reporting.* Detailed understanding of Capital and Liquidity reporting.* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.In our company values we aim for equity at all stages of the recruitment process, please let us know if we can do anything to make the process more accessible to you.
