Job Description

    • THE REGULATORY MANAGER
  • Responsibility for food contact materials/Non-Food (furniture, fixtures, fittings) compliance in the UK markets.
  • Maintain due diligence records and ensure our clients UK base remains legally compliant under relevant regulations.
  • Overall responsibility for successful completion of regulatory tasks for any new products as well as maintaining technical files accordingly.
  • Participating in planning meetings to provide regulatory guidance of new products and entry into the UK.
  • Setting up a network and maintaining relationships with regulatory contacts.
  • Holding regular meetings with licensees to ensure that all of their regulatory needs are being met.
  • Responding to regulatory queries.
  • Conducting research on proposed regulatory changes
  • Approving labels and working with suppliers to ensure compliance of products for the UK
  • Translate complex technical and legal requirements into effective risk communication for decision making within the business.
    • THE IDEAL CANDIDATEAs important as your experience and job capabilities will be your communication skills and team fit. Along with your interpersonal skills you will also need:
  • A strong background in a similar Regulatory Affairs role.
  • High level of knowledge in EU and international regulatory affairs
  • Knowledge of other EMEA languages highly desirable but not essential.
  • Confident in terms of importing products form Europe - technical documentations
  • Knowledge of UK tax requirements
  • Knowledge of UK and EU regulatory regulations.
  • Experience in importing and supply management.
  • Qualifications in technical aspects : Labeling
  • Dealing with non-food products: merchandising , store equipment, packaging
