Job Description

Statera Talent are currently partnered with a growing Regtech firm to assist them in the search for a Regulatory Specialist to assist with their offering with their Insurance clients. The firm works with a number of leading financial institutions to createa streamlined product backed by machine learning to ensure that all relevant regulatory updates are addressed. The incumbent will ensure that all the necessary regulations are tailored into the product and that are effectively implemented for the client base.Responsibilities

  • Interpreting how necessary regulatory changes will impact the firms customer base and how these should be provided through the product
  • Ensure that all regulatory content is appropriately sourced and developed for the product
  • Work closely with the technical departments to ensure that the most relevant regulatory publications are provided
  • Work closely with customers and project managers on the implementation of the product from initial information gathering to final fit for purpose delivery.
  • Provide elite level regulatory expertise to existing customers to ensure they are getting the best out of the product and it is suiting their compliance needs
Requirements
  • Over 5 years experience in the regulatory compliance or risk sector within financial services with a preference towards insurance experience.
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape with EU, APAC and US regions being preferred.
  • An understanding of these regulations and their impact on the insurance industry
  • An understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning would be preferred and the ability to work closely with professionals from analytical and data science backgrounds.
  • Experience working on regulatory driven projects
  • High level Excel proficiency
  • Previous experience working in an advisory function or consulting role would be an advantage
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups both internally and externally
