The role will involve working through the entire journeyof the regulationsunderstand the regulations at the stage of consultations, developing insights to educate colleagues and clients, assess Grant Thorntons offering be-spoke to business units (wealth, retail, capital markets, etc), develop regulatory summariesand interpretation positions, supports client in assessing the impact of the regulation on business and processesWere happy to talk flexible working and consider reduced hours and job shares, well support you to balance your work and life.A look into the role As a Regulatory Change RegTech Manager within our Data, RegTech and Digital team, you will:

  • Design and implement customised RegTech solutions for clients, driving RegTech implementation and driving regulatory change projects.
  • Undertake regulatory change impact assessment and regulatory mobilisation of regulatory project
Knowing youre right for us Joining us as a {role title}, the minimum criteria youll need is experience of implementing or designing Reg-Tech solutions (in-house or for potential clients). For e.g. re-defining Horizon Scanning solutions, improving regulatory impact work flowmanagement, mapping regulations / policy to controls, enabling digitisation Regulatory Reporting, working on Digital Regulatory Reporting initiatives, etc.. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but dont worry if you dont tick every box, well help you develop along the way.
  • Very good understanding of the Reg-Tech industry and the multiple scenarios where Reg-Tech can be applied to make legacy-change methodologies efficient
  • Technical understanding of Reg-Tech Tool is not critical but understanding of the technology behind a reg-tech solution will be an added advantage
  • Experience of running horizon scanning activity to scan and prioritise regulations (financial service experience preferred)
  • Experience in reading and interpreting regulations with an aim to translate complex regulatory requirements into changes that business / services lines need to consider
