An excellent opportunity for a Regulatory Affairs Officer / Specialist to join a successful international speciality chemicals and crop protection business. Working alongside a highly experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will contribute to all aspects of the department’s work including global product registrations, regulatory strategy, data selection and review, registration dossier preparation and some hazard communication.The company develops and markets a range of crop protection / plant protection products for international markets; they develop innovative formulations to address a wide variety of crops and applications. The London based regulatory affairs team works closely with an extended team of in-house and consultant technical specialists to secure and maintain product registrations. Activities include development of registration strategy, gathering/sourcing data, preparation of registration dossiers and all related hazard communication documents and, regulatory submissions to national authorities around the world.Suitable candidates will have a scientific background (chemistry or biology) along with an understanding of regulatory / registration processes and requirements. It is likely you are currently in a regulatory role or possibly a technical specialist role eg agronomy, ecotoxicology, regulatory chemistry etc and you are looking to focus on registrations. Experience of biocides would be very attractive; plant protections products or industrial/speciality chemicals would also be useful. You must be a confident communicator able to work with global stakeholders from a variety of cultures; you must be a quick learner, be flexible, able to work autonomously (flowing training) and be looking to become a valuable member of this team of regulatory and technical experts.
