Our client, a reputable international bank, is looking for a Finance Officer.The clients main business area is corporate loans and securities investment (no retail business including deposit & credit card). This position will be responsible for assisting a robust reporting framework to drive consistency in financial reporting &control and also accounting, regulatory reporting and risk management.[Responsibilities](1) Assisting the Bank reporting framework, ensuring compliance with accounting standards(2) Regulatory reporting such as COREP, FINREP, FSA, etc. and respond to the regulators queries(3) Annual reports including financial statements and be the first line of communication with the Auditors(4) Oversee the accounting function of day to day operations(5) Drive consistency in accounting policy implementation(6) Review changes and updates in IFRS, CRD IV and PRA regulations and report to management(7) Assist preparing annual risk management plans(8) Monitor risk management measures and early warning indicators(9) Assist liquidity and capital stress testing and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided to the board and regulators(10) Assist ILAAP, ICAAP, RRP and Pillar 3 Disclosure(11) Produce corporate tax computation and submit corporate tax returns(12) Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably required by management[Requirements](1) ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification(including part-qualified) preferred(2) Knowledge of regulatory reporting and risk management framework(3) A background in banking audit and financial control(4) An ability to communicate at Board level(5) Any East Asian language skills advantage but not essential: Cantonese, Chinese Mandarin, Korean, Japanese[Conditions](1) Job type: full-time & permanent(2) Job location: City of London(3) Working hours: 9am~5pm (including 1 hour lunch break)(4) Salary: Up to 48K (depending on experience)(5) Annual leave: 28 days (including 8 Bank/Public Holidays)(6) Benefits: pension, medical insurance[Before you apply](1) The right candidate must be eligible to work full-time in UK immediately without any restriction.
