Our client a market leading brokerage are looking to hire a "Regulatory Accountant". The business offers banking, securities and investment management services, coupled with bespoke financial services to a client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, and individuals. The successful individual will report into their Financial Controller, and the role sits within their Group Accounts team, offering great exposure to senior stakeholders. This role which will cover the full spectrum of regulatory reporting across capital and liquidity. The core responsibilities are (but not limited to): Daily capital adequacy calculations, including but not limited to, FER, CRR, CCR Preparation of ICAAP to board submission Preparation and submission all financial Regulatory returns (FSA001, 002, 019, 055, COREP) Preparation of the Pillar 3 statement Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the relevant regulatory framework and interpret all and any rule changes in terms of the current and future business lines and operations. Daily currency exposure report Assist with the preparation and filing of the monthly CMAR report Preparation of counterparty annual reviews/due diligence Assist the Directors with any ad-hoc questions Candidate Background Ideally an accountancy qualification Experience of regulatory reporting/accounting in the finance industry (ideally investment banking/brokerage) CASS experience Strong analytical and organisational abilities Experience in handling a broad range of accounting responsibilities Self-starter; hands-on; diligent and pro-active.
