-- GThis role sits within the Financial Regulatory Reporting team in UK and will report to the Executive Director, Head of Regulatory Reporting, UK Finance.Contact Ashley Taylor is interested!RESPONSIBILITIES:* Ownership of the production of certain regulatory returns and statutory reporting items for UK and European entities as assigned by manager, and validating against underlying rules and reporting instructions.* Assist with review of new regulatory rules and policy notices, consider impact and advise of applicable changes to reporting requirements as they impact the team .* Assist with ensuring all internal regulatory reporting requirements are met, including provision of regulatory data to the Regional CFO and Management Committees.* Participate in project and ad-hoc work within the team as assigned by manager. * Assist with testing in respect of regulatory system changes and business changes. * Assist with regional SOX testing.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES:* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).* Degree and strong A-levels or equivalent.* Experience in a finance/banking environment and any associated regulatory or statistical reporting would be preferred. * Knowledge and understanding of plain vanilla derivatives is ideal.* Experience in the preparation of statutory accounts and a good technical knowledge of accounting standards (UK GAAP or IFRS).* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
