If you are Ethnically Diverse and demonstrateyou meet the minimum criteriafor the role you will be guaranteed an interview.The difference you will make as a Regional Trainer.As a key member of the Learning and Development Team, you will be responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of a range of training courses and development programmes that enhance the knowledge, skills and behaviours across Riverside.About YouYou will have a proven track record as a Regional Trainer or in a similar delivery role with a strong up to date knowledge of training principles including adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies. Finally, you will have experience in developingand delivering both in person and virtual training programmes and be proficient in using training software.Role Requirements
  • Role model, champion and embed Our Riverside Way and ways of working, collaborating with People Services and business colleagues to achieve the Riverside aspired culture.
  • Develop and implement training programmes and initiatives to address the learning and development needs of colleagues
  • Work with Learning Partners to conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across different departments
  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and presentations using a variety of instructional techniques and formats
  • Create and update training materials, including training manuals, presentations, handouts, and multimedia visual aids
  • Collaborate with Learning Partners, subject matter experts and department managers to ensure that training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organisational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide individual coaching and support to colleagues to reinforce learning and development objectives.
  • Be aware of any regulatory changes within the housing sector to ensure these are properly reflected in al training content
  • Collaborate with Learning and People Partners to ensure that training initiatives are aligned with respective department people plans and strategies
  • Assist in the new starter process by delivering the regional induction to all new colleagues
  • Work with People Services Administrator to maintain training records, documentation, and reports to track colleague progress and compliance
  • Ensure that all data is compliant with legislation and policies relating to data quality
  • Support the People Services Team by helping to ensure that the Riverside People Strategy and Plans – together with underpinning frameworks and policies - are embedded and adhered to
  • Maintain industry knowledge and expertise, keeping abreast of all developments and best practice in own area of expertise, identifying opportunities to contribute to and shape future decision making
  • Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service
  • Ensure that all information security requirements, including data protection, are met in accordance with the Group’s policy, procedures and statutory requirements
