Regional Payroll Specialist - 6 month Fixed Term Contract Grade 09 (for internal purposes) The Role: The Payroll Specialist is part of a team that administers 30 payrolls in 17 countries in the EMEA region using CloudPay and ADP in an outsourced environment. Payrolls controlled for the following countries: Belgium, Dubai, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and UK paying a total of 1,950 employees. Administer and control local payroll operations, ensuring that all data has been processed accurately by the payroll provider. Work closely with People Service Centre, Compensation and Total Rewards functions to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Ensure payroll processing is in accordance with payroll accounting requirements. Participate in GL account maintenance. Reconcile payroll accounts in collaboration with the Finance and business unit teams. Maintain reconciliations of each of the payrolls ensuring that the payroll data is verified and checked against previous monthly data. Administer all payroll tax reporting and filing requirements with the statutory authorities in the appropriate countries. Create payroll timetables and ensure that these are published and adhered to by each of the payroll providers. Ensures data integrity in all payroll systems Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all equity income in compliance with regional specific laws. Assist both Internal and External Audit with any audits and queries. Ensure that all payrolls are compliant with audit procedures Any other duties as necessary to the performance of the role. The Impact: The EMEA region includes 17 countries, 30 payrolls and 1,950 employees. The role is responsible for administering the outsourced vendor with respect to all payroll activities including payroll processing, tax requirements/filings, issue resolution, monthly, quarterly and annual processes, systems requirements, verifications and controls, internal and external audits and employee support. The role encompasses supporting colleagues in all People COEs (i.e. Total Rewards, Compensation and People Services), Finance and Accounting, Tax and Audit.
