Job Description

Contract Duration: 12 months Grade ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 10 Location: London, UK The Team: The EMEA Regional Customer Marketing team is responsible for planning and deploying comprehensive account based marketing plans to drive regional demand generation and growth through new business leads and existing customer accounts. We lookto delight our customers and create an exceptional customer experience through marketing tactics including digital lead generation campaigns, free events and engaging in third party sponsorships. The team partner closely with each other and commercial salesand editorial to achieve our goals. The Role:As a Regional Customer Marketing Manager for the EMEA region, you will play a key role in developing and implementing compelling marketing plans using the full marketing mix to accelerate lead conversion and market share in existing customer base and net newaccounts. You will be responsible for owning end to end marketing plans and budget, from prospect acquisition to engagement to conversion via tactical marketing mix including email, direct messaging, digital tools and events. You will collaborate closely withcommercial partners to understand fully our customers and to refine programs according to their needs to achieve shared goals. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy strategic account-based marketing plans across multiple tactics including email, content syndication, display ads, free events and sponsorships and social media channels to achieve revenue targets.
  • Partner and collaborate closely with sales managers to understand customer needs and deliver marketing plans that reflect the customer journey and buying cycle.
  • Assess campaigns using data and analytics platforms to improve campaign effectiveness and use of digital techniques and processes.
  • Use current digital tools including AI Assistants, Customer Data Platforms and CRM systems (Marketo) to drive better understanding of audience experience and segmentation and lead quality.
  • Drive knowledge of campaigns; latest leads, target audiences, content advancements and customer interaction with commercial sales peers.
  • Brief external agencies, including creative, digital, and media planning, to deliver campaign activity where necessary.
  • Drive rapid but well-structured campaign testing designed to validate the potential of digital channels and audiences
What Were Looking For: Basic requirements:
  • A positive, customer-centric attitude with passion and motivation to work collaboratively within a close regional marketing team.
  • Passion for great customer experience and the drive to grow campaign- based marketing experience in a large, fast paced organization.
  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on direct marketing.
  • Sales cycle and account-based marketing knowledge including demand creation and pipeline contribution/acceleration
  • Demonstrated ability to create and develop strategies through integrated inbound/outbound marketing campaigns including marketing tactical mix; physical and virtual events, social and digital marketing to meet identified objectives and outcomes
  • Knowledge and experience using key business applications including Sharepoint, SalesForce, Marketo, and HTML
  • Proven track record of successful online marketing campaigns and experiments -- owning campaign performance and adjusting tactics to meet goals and budgets.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, ability to turn analysis into actionable programs and to use data to optimize day-to-day performance.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with any of the large ad platforms: Facebook, Google, YouTube.
  • Deeper knowledge and interest for social media and digital marketing platforms
  • Experience in building and managing customer data (targeting, segmentation, campaign sizing, propensity modelling)
  • Industry knowledge - Energy & Commodities markets.
  • Ability to demonstrate track record of success in all key areas of responsibility.
