Job Description

Job Title: Reception TeacherLocation: Hammersmith, LondonStart Date: ASAP or Summer term startAre you looking for a teaching role that starts after the February half term We are seeking a dynamic and high calibre Reception Teacher to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Hammersmith. The school is very centrally located in Hammersmith closeto the tube stations. The role will start after the February half term and candidates must 100% be able to commit until the end of the academic year in July.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to Reception students, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Create a nurturing and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and a love for learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement a well-rounded curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students.
  • Establish effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students progress and achievements.
  • Foster a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong understanding and experience of working with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine passion for the well-being and development of young learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators
  • ECTs (Early Career Teachers) and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
