Our client is a major international law firm well known for providing a full range of market-leading legal services across their chosen sectors. The firm is particularly highly rated for their Energy, Transport, and Real Estate sector practices. The opportunity:The firms specialist Real Estate Disputes team (part of the wider Dispute Resolution Group) offers a full range of contentious property services, with particular strength in: * Development-support disputes (such as restrictive covenants and rights to light);* Property-related insolvency (including advice on the effects of CVAs, administrations and liquidations on property assets); * Telecommunications and energy infrastructure disputes; * Landlord and tenant disputes (such as dilapidations, terminations and disputesinvolving the L&T Act 1954); * Sale & purchase, joint-venture and shareholder disputes in relation to real estate investments; * Cladding disputes (predominantly acting for landowners and management companies); * Rent review disputes (including High Courtchallenges to arbitral decisions); and * High-end residential disputes (such as rights-to-manage and rights of first refusal matters)/ Due to the growth of the practice and increasing client demand they are looking for an additional junior Associate to jointhe team. You: To be considered for this position you will have: * Training and ideally 1-3 years post-qualification experience of contentious real estate matters, ideally gained from a City, international or highly regarded regional law ; * A strong academicbackground, good technical skills, and an understanding of the resolution of real estate disputes so that you can hit the ground running as part of the team; * Strong legal, analytical, organisational, and matter management skills; * A proactive and confidentattitude with a high level of initiative.
