Responsibilities:• Underwriting commercial real estate debt investments across development loans, mezzanine loans, bridge loans and preferred equity• Production of Credit Commitee materials• Management of internal pipelines and origination networks• Management of investor communications.• Structuring debt• Managing commercial real estate debt investmentsQualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree with a major in real estate, economics, or finance preferred• Prior exposure across construction loans, mezzanine loans, bridge loans, preferred equity and note purchases• 1-2 years of commercial real estate or finance experience with an investment firm, REIT, brokerage or bank• Sound understanding of economic and investment theory and practices• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, advanced Excel• Superior writing, presentation, and communication skills• Excellent written and spoken EnglishKey Qualities:• Strong underwriting expertise with excellent real estate financial modeling• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, persuasive and articulate• Strong research and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively• Ability to multi-task and prioritise• Good attention to detail and organisational skills• Motivated team player with strong work ethic and collaborative style• Self-directed and proactive• Passionate about real estate debt investment• Ability to gather, organise, coordinate, and interpret data from various sources• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, committed to providing high-quality work• Organised, accurate and thorough, consistently meeting deadlines• Ability to professionally interact with onsite staff, senior management, third parties and clients• Flexibility in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment• Positive, energetic, personable and enthusiastic.
