Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading UK in-house pension fund. The company requires a Real Assets Accountant for a 12-month FTC who will play an instrumental role in their upcoming outsourcing project.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting processes for the Real Asset portfolio.
  • Lead on the reconciliation of outsourcing across 2 operating models.
  • Assist in managing external auditors and work with property managers and outsourced administrators to ensure information is passed on in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Build strong relationships with the Real Assets Team, delivering monthly, quarterly and any ad hoc reports and attending meetings when required.
  • Review accounting policies and procedures across the portfolio to assess performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Candidate Profile:
  • ACA / ACCA qualified accountant or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ post-qualified experience working with property funds (Pooled, InfrastructureLTFs & SPVs).
  • Recent experience working under FRS 102.
  • Knowledge of Yardi & SUN essential.
  • Analytical and problem-solving self-starter profile.
