The Radiography and Medical Imaging Department at Fatima College of Health Sciences with the main campus located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is currently inviting applications from experienced senior teaching academics in radiography and/or medical imaging. By offering professional entry and higher education programs in radiography and medical imaging, the College is the major contributor to the radiography and medical imaging workforce and healthcare development in the UAE.Brief DescriptionSenior academic staff required to teach into the Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging. Bachelor of radiography and medical imaging program is well established it is now entering an exciting period of growth as it expands existing operations in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain to the newly established and accredited campuses in Ajman and Al Dhafra. FCHS is advancing plans to progress the development of a Masters program with a range of discipline specialtiesDetailed Description Comply with EHS Policies, Programs and Procedures as per IAT/ADVETI EHSMS-General Framework and take responsibility for any aspect of EHS that they are involved in Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, and clinical sessions Develop and update subject material Develop and deliver different teaching approaches and models including, but not limited to, e-learning, student-centred education, blended education, flipped lecture model, individualized learning Act as subject/course coordinators Undertake research aligned to their expertise, entity research focus and/or major research priorities of the UAE Alignundergraduate capstone and graduate projects with career, problem based industrial projects and patentable ideas Engage in scholarly activities, innovation, and submission of grant applications to support research goals Participate in professional activities such as training, conferences, workshops, etc. Organise events and community services such as exhibitions, conferences, competitions, workshops and training sessions Develop assessment tools, grading rubrics, and outcome assessment Advice and mentor students Undertake administrative functions connected to academic outcome reporting, course filing and archiving, course surveys and feedback, grade book, and e-assessments Participate in internal and external committees Participate in committees for strategy and policy development Provide consultation services Conduct any other tasks assigned by the line managerJob Requirements PhD / Doctorate in Radiography and/or Medical Imaging with clinical experience within areas of Radiographic Anatomy/Radiologic Pathology/Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Physics/Computed Tomography Ultrasound/Magnetic Resonance Imaging 1-3 years of teaching experience after the PHD Two Publications registered in Scorpus Database or Schorlarly Publications Excellent oral and written English with IELTS academic band of 7 (is a must for non-fluent level English speakers). All candidates must obtain the Equivalency certificate for their highest qualification/from the MOE, UAE.
