Job Description

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a RAD Developer for an initial 12 month contract based in London with remote work available.Purpose of the Role:Working within Global Markets IT Risk, P&L development you will assist the team developing software to support systems for Risk, P&L, Financial Resources and the management of referential data for Global Markets.Responsibilities of the role:As a RAD Developer you will be responsible for:

  • Business aligned RAD development in a front office technology team.
  • Work on the enhancement and maintenance of the RAD FO reporting, market data contribution, risk and PnL framework.
  • Use Rapid Application Development techniques for quick turn-around of high profile projects.
What we require from the candidate:
  • Good knowledge of JAVA/C#/C++, Python, Excel / VBA, SQL (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Previous experience of front-office risk and PnL support and development.
  • Good understanding of equities and commodities products.
  • Solid grasps of JAVA / .NET C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystem.
  • Highly motivated to work directly for a front-office IT team.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges.
