Esses RacingBuda, TXFull TimeAbout Esses: Founded in 2019, Esses Racing is run by a core group of motorsport professionals with experience in NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, and Formula 1. We provide premium racing services offering track day and race support, driver development and coaching,race car maintenance/tuning, and engine computer maintenance and repair. The shop is split into 3 departments: GT Prototype, and Sport Racer.Benefits

We are looking for experienced and motivated full time Racing Technician for our IMSA Program with candidate located within commuting distance of Esses Racing (Buda, TX). The ideal candidate must be self driven, hard working, and have a deep understandingof GT3 based race cars. A proven background with at least 3 years of previous professional motorsport and race team experience is essential! The ability to travel and willingness to work weekends is a prerequisite.Key Competencies:Attention to detailSelf StarterTime managementTeam PlayerKey understanding of mechanical engineering along with a good motorsport knowledgeExperience & Qualifications3 years min. experience as a Race Team TechnicianFactory base preferredValid Clean Drivers LicensePassport is required for travel to Canada and EuropeGT3 car setup essentialResponsibilities
  • Upkeep, maintenance, setup and running of IMSA GT3 car.
  • Follow clear documented work instructions provided by lead race engineer
  • Able to follow and read technical bulletins and drawings
  • Effectively communicate with team lead or advisor when adjustments and additional work is needed
  • Coordinate with engineers who may request for changes or parts installment
  • Involved in pit stop duties
