Using their unrivalled experience and attention to detail, they deliver homes that are admired, envied and built to last.They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join their small office team in West London and support the delivery of a range of exciting projects.Your Rewards- Salary of up to £40,000 per annum DOE- Pension- Holiday allowance- Full-time position- Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 17:00 (typical)If you have a thorough understanding of residential construction, an eye for detail and a thorough approach, this is an incredible opportunity to support ambitious builds that captivate and inspire.Our client is committed to accuracy, quality, professionalism and delivering a completed project to their clients.In this important role, you will have the chance to help uphold their already impressive standing in the industry, enhance your portfolio with a range of impressive projects and develop a rewarding career.Your RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager, you’ll support the delivery of an incredible portfolio of residential construction projects.Dealing with stunning bespoke projects, you will join a small, skilled team involved in:- High specification new home builds and large refurbishments- Preparing tendering packages- Site meetings and project costing- Producing project budgets and cost plans- Liaising with site management, the design team, suppliers/sub-contractors and the client- The management of sub-contracts- Variation tracking and control- Valuation submissionsAbout YouTo be considered for this role, you’ll need:- A thorough understanding of residential construction- The ability to read, interpret and understand drawings (architectural, engineering etc.) including scaling and taking-off- Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills- A great telephone manner- To be computer literate, including MS Office/Word/email- To be flexible, versatile, dedicated and punctual- Excellent attention to detail- At a minimum, 5 years’ experience in low rise construction contract management/quantity surveying/project management for a main contractor in the residential sectorA full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial to your application due to the occasional need to travel to sites.Other organisations may call this role Estimator, Construction Surveyor, Construction Estimator, Construction Project Manager, Contract Manager, Construction Project Manager, or Residential Build Project Manager.Webrecruit and our clients are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
