Job Description

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a growing Boutique Developer and take ownership of the commercial element of the team.As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial management and cost control of their development projects. You will be responsible for accurately estimating and forecasting project costs, analysing financial data, preparing tender documents,and ensuring projects are delivered within budget.As a qualified QS you will be eager to be directly involved in the full life cycle of the project development, working very closely with the development team.Responsibilities:

  • Cost planning during acquisition stage
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Analyse project costs and provide strategic advice to optimise project profitability through value engineering.
  • Procurement
  • Post Contract, on site project management
  • Managing packages from first valuation to final account
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or qualified through experience
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in the development of airspace or high-rise projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quantity surveying practices, cost estimating, and tendering processes.
