Quantitative Researcher - Futures and Fx

Skills required:

4+ years’ experience as a quantitative researcher preferable in systematic strategy development
Broad knowledge and experience of building reliable, performant, highly distributed and scalable research systems (e.g. back testing, simulation)
Strong development experience in Matlab, R and/or Python
Strong background in modeling large amounts of data
Ability to work effectively and independently as well as part of a team
Masters or PhD in a quantitative field such as Physics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science

Role description:

Research, develop and participate in all aspects of alpha modeling including data scouting, hypothesis generation, back-testing and production monitoring
Analyse large data sets using advanced statistical methods
Build and enhance the execution framework for live trading of futures and FX instruments
Focus throughout the day is on researching and implementing trading ideas
Working collaboratively with team members to automate all aspects of workflow in systematic trading
