Equities e-Trading Quant Developer - Assoc level London based Are you passionate about delivering building robust and scalable core Java server systems and are you motivated to deliver real business value If so, our client are looking for someone likeyou; sitting within the Global Markets principle e-trading business (covering FX, PM, Rates, Credit and Equities) and developing next generation algorithmic trading solutions* operating within a high-performing, fast paced quant development team, whose goalsare directly aligned to the business* adding meaningful functionality which will help to grow the business and have a direct impact on revenues* creating ultra-low latency server side solutions, primarily written in Java* opportunities to work across the fullstack from front end to server This is a Front office e-Trading quant dev team within the Global Markets principle e-trading business, with a business reporting line. From start to finish. Youll draw on the strength of their platforms, products, servicesand people worldwide to deliver best-in-class service. Requirements: Bachelors/Masters or equivalent with a focus on computer science* software engineering experience* proactive, collaborative, motivated* adept at picking up new concepts, programing languagesand frameworks* strong Java programming (a must)* UI (HTML5 / Javascript) experience useful but not essential* linux / python / spark / time series database experience also desirable* familiarity with working in an agile environment and toolset (gitlab, jira,test frameworks and performance tuning also a plus)* understanding of technology design, planning and delivery processes used in large-scale enterprise environment
